day 6 of 30 [a day late]

ok...so i'm not slacking,i promise! i was typing this blog out yesterday afternoon when all of a sudden all the electrical appliances in our house clicked off and the monitor went black...just as my picture was uploading. so yes, i am a day late, but with a good REASON not excuse!

without further ado...

day 6- favorite super hero and why

my favorite superhero(es) would have to be the incredibles. they're a family unit that sticks together. they're there for each other when they need it the most. and most of all...the mom is awesome! she is the super mom! i wish i could stretch like her sometimes. either that or having a 3rd and 4th retractable arm!

day 5- a picture of somewhere you've been to

ok...so i did it again and picked more than one picture. its so hard to choose from soooo many pictures!!! anyway. the top picture is when we were in california and we went to the farmers market in LA. this was the second time we had gone. i HEART this place!!!!

and the one below is also when we were in california. we actually made it to an angels game. i love going to baseball games. the noises, sights, and all the yummy treats. so my TOMS and i represented the angels!

day 4- a habit that you wish you didn’t have

hmm... i have many habits. which one would i not want to have?? i guess if i had to pick one i'd go with my habit of not taking the top lid of the pile when getting a soda. and i don't take the second one, i've got to go a ways down in the pile to get one. so if i didn't do this, perhaps id save some time. and all those seconds saved would turn into hours id have back. :] so there you have it!

so today when i read the thing for today i knew it would take a minute. we have a few different circles of friends since we are from california and we now live in utah. so i couldn't just pick one, or even just a couple. so enjoy! and sorry if you didn't make it on here. send me a pic and ill edit the post and add you!

day 2- the meaning behind you blog name

as of now, my blog name is cupcake mama. i picked this because i have an obsession with cupcakes and i'm evelynn's mama. so i combined the two loves.

but the URL is LivesForGod[dot]blogspot... which i originally picked because we, as a family, live our lives for Jesus. this being an important part of our lives, that's what i went with at the time.

short and sweet.

day 1 of 30

last night i found this 30 day challenge and decided i was going to do it. so here it goes...

day 1- recent picture of you and 15 interesting facts about yourself

[during our summer in cali. in july we went to the LA farmers market twice. this was one of the trips; and all was well cause i had my phone and soda!]

one. i LOVE to use change
two. i'm addicted to purses [what girl isn't and it's nothing you guys didn't know already]
three. i constantly go about my day thinking of short sentences to sum up what i am doing at the moment (FB status & twitter)
four. i love kissing evelynn's feet...at least until they're stinky
five. i've started doing an art journal and i LOVE it. i'm not very artsy, but it lets me feel that way for a minute
six. i've never done a cartwheel
seven. i love the high school musical movies
eight. i usually don't capitalize anything but words pertaining to God: Jesus, Lord, etc.
nine. i love to spell out numbers
ten. i never take the top lid when i'm getting a drink
eleven. when getting gas, i MUST stop on a number ending on zero or five; and will keep clicking until it happens [and i think of you aimee ever time i do!]
twelve. i deal better with children with disabilities than i do with "normal" people
thirteen. i've had the same routine in the shower for years
fourteen. i HATE driving behind the trucks that transport cars
fifteen. i LOVE Jesus with my whole heart, mind, and soul!
