new tastes...

when we were in california my mom bought evelynn some of those gerber snacks. she bought the apple strawberry star things. yesterday evelynn and i were hanging out and i thought id give them a shot. so i put one of my hand for her to check out and perhaps grab...


so she eventually got a grasp on it with both hands and touched it to her lips...


then since she didnt eat the one i offered her, i ate it. they are delicious! i only had a few and remembered they were hers! im thinking of getting some for myself! ha!

every year when this day comes around i sit and wonder what it was really all about. so i went to wikipedia! heres st patrick and heres the day. enjoy!

teething!!!

slobber and snot! dont like either of them! evelynn acts like im ripping her face off whenever i have to wipe her face. she hates it; i never realized just how strong she is. but im not about to let her lick up her snot...gross! help me Jesus!!!

so far we have two bottom teeth! they started cutting in last saturday, march 6th! this has been the bridge i was waiting to cross with nursing. lets see how it goes... :]

past due...

so we went to cali for what should have been six days and turned into nine and a 1/2. i need to get back on the ball. there is so much to share!

i shall get on it soon...once i get my house under control!

so heres a struggle of mine. i realized the other day that i feel a bit weird about the whole tip jar thing.
i dont mind tipping but heres my dilemma... so at a coffee shop, you put together my drink and hand it over. i dont feel it necessary to tip for that. its your job. i dont get tips from parents for wiping their kids snot or changing their diaper (much more tip-worthy on my scale i guess!).

just my rant for the day. anyone else struggle with this? or have a reason that makes it more reasonable to always tips? help!!!
