my dear friend tara is letting me borrow her sewing machine. it looks simple enough. now hopefully i can figure it out. im going to try and make it to joanns in the next couple weeks just to get a little bit of stuff (fabric, thread, etc.) to fiddle with. any easy projects you can suggest i try... after i figure out how it really works of course!

Search online for free tutorials- there are a ton. The 1st thing I learned how to sew was ribbon onto burp cloths. Cheap and easy- just a straight line. There are pictures of them on Facebook.

The gals at Quitl n Sew offer sewing classes. They are so sweet and very informative. I took some classes there and it ws fun.
